Working
• Solar thermal energy absorbed by the solar panels produces water vapour which
is used by the patented Purix chiller as a refrigerant for producing chilled water at a
low temperature.
• The chilled water is distributed to one or more cooling devices in the building,
gently cooling the indoor environment to a comfortable humidity and
temperature.The chilled water returns to the chiller in a closed loop.
• The Purix air conditioner is air cooled and may be installed as a stand alone unit
or in combination with existing air conditioning and ventilation systems.

Salient Features
• Applies water as natural refrigerant, i.e. free of HFCs.. It’s based on Global Phasedown Agreement of reducing HFCs( F-gases) in refrigerants.
• Powered by the sun when available – but works around the clock. Operates without sun by automatically switching to TES or backup heat source.
• Gently cools without drying out the indoor environment or enjoy the heating from the solar collectors.
• Very Low electricity consumption. Reduces energy costs for cooling and heating. Virtually No Operating Costs.
• Flexible design for match with indoor environment various fan coil types, mono & multi split design. Low noise level.
• The products represent a unique opportunity for phasing out F-gases(HFCs) as Purix chillers apply
R718(water) as natural and non-flammable refrigerant, as well as a fuel switch opportunity from electricity towards low cost, thermal and renewable energy sources.
